We offer psychotherapy, psychological diagnostics, and psychological counselling for adults. Depending on the concern, treatment or counselling can take place in Berlin or online. The first step is always to clarify together which form of support best fits your current situation.

Psychotherapy supports people who are struggling with psychological difficulties and would like professionally grounded treatment. I work with a behavioral therapy approach, which means that we look together at how thoughts, feelings, physical reactions, and behavior are connected and what keeps the difficulties going in everyday life. The aim is both to make concrete changes in daily life and to develop a better understanding of recurring thoughts, feelings, and relationship patterns.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy can be helpful both for clearly defined current problems and for difficulties that have been present for a longer time. Depending on the concern, we either work in a structured way on specific situations or look more deeply at recurring patterns that show up in relationships, at work, in studies, or in how you relate to yourself.

Online psychotherapy is psychotherapy that takes place via video consultation. The content, goals, and therapeutic approach do not differ significantly from in-person treatment. Even online, we can work together to understand difficulties, develop goals, and work out concrete steps.

Online therapy can be a convenient way to get support, for example if travel is difficult, your daily routine leaves little flexibility, or you simply feel more comfortable in a familiar environment. It is important that you can speak without being interrupted during the session and that you have a stable internet connection.

Psychological diagnosis can be helpful when symptoms need to be better understood or more specifically assessed. We offer in particular ADHD assessment in adulthood. Many adults only realize quite late that concentration problems, inner restlessness, impulsivity, difficulties with organization, or emotional fluctuations might be related to ADHD.

Psychological counselling is a more flexible form of support and can be helpful if you are not looking for psychotherapy in the narrower sense or if your concern is not primarily about making a diagnosis. It can focus, for example, on personal decisions, work-related or private stress, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress, life transitions, or the wish for better orientation.

In contrast to psychotherapy, here we work less on a mental health problem that requires treatment and more on specific questions, clarification, and personal development. For some people, this more open format is a particular advantage. Psychological counselling is always a self-pay service.
